Join Alex Bauermeister for two days of hands-on assisting training to build skills for offering mindful support in restful yoga poses. Through partner practice, giving and receiving feedback, presentation and discussion, you'll deepen your capacity to hold safe, grounding, and restorative space. Whether you're looking to bring restorative assists to group classes or private clients, you'll gain wisdom around:

• what supports trauma-informed, consent-based, healing touch (and what undermines it)

• sustainable body mechanics & energetic awareness to take care of yourself while taking care of others

• specific assists applicable to restorative yoga postures that help students sink into bliss

Please come with some previous exposure to restorative yoga postures, but no previous bodywork experience required. Yoga Teachers receive 12 hours of continuing education credits.
